Speedway. One of the most dangerous sports in the world. We shouldn't forget riders who were fighting for their teams and now they're gone.

The first name coming to mind? Lee Richardson. This great rider has died so recently. 13.05. will always remind me of the ill-fated accident on the track in Wrocław.I remember watching this fall, I thought - one of many. I was sure he will get up. Then I thought he may leave the track in an ambulance but he will be safe there. And suddenly I realized how much I was wrong ...

We will remember him as if he was still on the track.

In the evening, like every Sunday, I was looking for the results of the latest speedway matches on the Internet. I saw the headline: "Lee Richardson seriously injured" I clicked on the link to the article... Severe internal injuries, surgery ... And then everything happened quickly. The first comment I saw: "Rest in peace Lee. [*]"- Dad .. Lee is dead. He can not be dead! Why? - I cried like a baby.- Take it easy. It's not true, it must be a mistake. It is not true. - But it was.

God, it was true. I know how it sounds but maybe it was necessary? Someone in heaven just needed such a great player. Lee is now at the highest level of speedway, in the best, the heavenly team.

Probably you remember Rif's Saitgariejew or Wojciech's  Kiełbasa crash ... In Gniezno we still remember Tony Kasper.You can not forget them. Especially those who have died so tragically, due to injury or illness. Rafał Kurmański, Robert Dados, Łukasz Romanek ... They were so young ...
Thanks to them, we could observe exciting races and what's more important great people.
