It's all about the money.

Do you want to have a good rider in your club? Firstly you have to pay much. Browsing websites about speedway I noticed a headline: "Stars are demanding astronomical money." Seemed intriguing so I' ve read it.

It's obvious that a titled player has the right to require a fairly high salary for his work. But is Matej Zagar as good as he thinks? Surely, he had a very satisfying season, he got promoted to the GP series, but shouldn't he calm down a bit? 200 000 EUR for a signature and 5000 for each point is a lot of money! We'll see in which club he will ride.

Another star is Antonio Lindbaeck. If speedway fans in Gniezno think he will stay in Start, they could be disappointed.  He demands 450 000 PLN for contract, 4000 per point and 6000 for coming to place where match takes place. We still need at least 6 other, and what's important great, players to complete the staff in order to be competitive. I claim Anton would like to stay in Gniezno but because of financial problems it won't be possible.

Finally, the one and only - Nicki Pedersen. His value has increased recently. Silver SGP 2012 medalist requests 900 000 PLN for signature, 7000 per point and 20000 for coming to the match! There was some news Nicki's coming to Gniezno, but I don't think it can happen. The amount of money he'll have to earn simply disqualify Start, whose budget is going to be about 6 millions. 

In Gniezno, we strongly believe that the best riders in the world will be riding for our club. I hope that at least one of the two Tomasz Gollob & Greg Hancock will visit the first Polish capital next season. On the other hand, it is worth noticing that they're both getting older and it's hard to predict how their shape will change next year. Forming Lechma Start Gniezno's lineup won't certainly be an easy task. We need to wait for the results of it.
